Micro-mobility is booming. An electric kick scooter is the preferred transportation for many people to cruise around the city, so comfort is crucial. Riders have different heights, commute distances, and riding styles, and this EXT e-kick scooter adapts to unique individuals.
EXT is a concept scooter with an sliding wheelbase that can shape-shift to the rider’s needs. Inspired by the various lengths of a skateboard, it has shortboard and longboard modes. A shortboard mode, aka sports mode, enhances speed, performance, and maneuverability to ride through the city. The longboard mode supports comfort and balance, making it ideal for a long-distance ride or cruising near the coast.
The rear wheel moves smoothly and steadily under the raised deck without exposing complex mechanisms. The parametric grip on the deck allows a more comfortable stance when riding.
The wheelbase automatically slides to the saved data with one click on the app. Users can customize the wheelbase length, sync with the vehicle, check ride history, and access map and music.
